Menu Plan Monday



This week I am making a challenge for Phil and I. No impulse buys, minimal trips to the grocery and minimal carb/starch items for dinner. We will not be indulging in a lot of bread, potatoes, chips etc. as a part of our meal plan this week. Little changes like this are helping us to think more about what we are putting in our bodies.

Here is our plan for the week:

Sunday: Honey BBQ Chicken with Green Beans and Refridgerator Pickles
Monday: Polynesian Steaks and Quinoa with Green Beans and Salad (Romaine Lettuce)
Tuesday: Summer BBQ at our House with the 20-Somethings group from Church. We will be providing Burgers (Turkey), All Beef Hot Dogs, and Bratwurst, Buns, Relish, Ketchup, Mustard and Buns (Whole Wheat and Slims)
Wednesday: Taco Salad with leftover Turkey Meat from Tuesday
Thursday: Cherry Chicken with Asparagus and Quinoa
Friday: Whole Wheat Waffles with Turkey Bacon and Scrambled Eggs
Saturday: Not Sure Yet of Our Plans
