Weekends in May were non existent. That is to say they happened but they didn't feel restful at all. The Travis family was on the for every single weekend throughout the month of May. Motehers day weekend was no exception. When Phil asked me where I wanted to eat for Mothers day I said HOME and we did just that.
We spent the afternoon grilling out. Chicken and Asparagus. I made homemade french fries and iced coffee. We sat out on the deck and enjoyed our meal. Joel played in the yard and then both kids napped leaving some time for Phil and I to just sit and relax before heading to evening services at church.

People always ask me what I did over the weekend, and I joke, "I take my weekends very seriously. Joseph and I stayed home and hung out."
