The great freezer clean out

In preparation for lots of meat from the quarter of a cow we are purchasing and winter soups (YUM!) the Travis freezer is in need of a MAJOR clean out! Earlier this week I spent some time cataloging everything that is currently in our freezer and came up with a list of 18 meals that I can make with what is in my freezer. We also have several odds and ends. Fruits for muffins and smoothies and lots of frozen veggies to be used in soups!

Not only is the "great freezer clean out" practical it will also save us money on our grocery budget for the next few weeks! Here is the list of meals I will be making out of items only from my pantry and freezer:

-Turkey Tettrazini
-Hobo Stew (x2)
-Breakfast for Dinner
-Poblano Bacon Macaroni and Cheese
-Chicken Chili
-Steak and Potatoes
-Hawaiian Pork in the Crockpot
-Scallop Potatoes with Ham
-Meatballs
-Potato chowder soup
-Perogis with stir fry peppers and onions
-Spinach Ravioli
-Black Bean Casserole
-Kung Pao Chicken with Jasmine Rice
-Chicken Enchiladas
-Cherry Chicken
-3 cheese tortellini
-Home made chicken noodle soup

There you have it folks. 18 meals! You should take a look in your freezer. I bet you would be surprised at how many delicious meals you can make!
